Addiction, Mental Health and Psychoeducation – a virtual workshop co-hosted by Mind Blossom and Recoverlution
This workshop took place virtually and comprised of presentations, group discussions and “hands on” sessions led by scientists and professionals that have personally experienced addiction and other types of mental illness. In this workshop, we talked about the science of addiction, and dug into the role and management of stress during addiction recovery. We also talk about evidence-based self-help resources and resources to seek support. After watching this, you will have a better understanding of why you or someone you know struggles with an addiction, how stress affects addiction recovery and what practical tools we can implement in our daily lives.
