Unfortunately, our mental health is often intertwined with the legal system, whether that be prisons, civil rights, or access to care. On this page you can find more information about your legal rights against discrimination and unjust sentencing.

In the United States, insurance can be really difficult to navigate, and treatment is often delayed or out of reach for that reason. Mind Blossom is dedicated to supporting everyone in getting treatment by sharing effective resources to obtain insurance coverage of all types of mental illness.

You can choose where your money goes.

If you donate $1,000, we’ll invest the money in your local region. If you donate $3,000 we’ll invest them in the community, school, or organization of your choice!

Why we exist

Mind Blossom is spearheaded by our CEO and Neuroscientist, Dr. Pernille (Bülow) Yilmam, PhD, who, having faced severe mental illnesses, draws from personal experience. Her encounters with stigma, limited family support, and inadequate access to treatment motivated the inception of Mind Blossom.

While Dr. Yilmam’s journey embodies pain and hardship, it is equally a narrative of hope, resilience, and the fortifying strength of community. Beyond her expertise, Dr. Yilmam brings a genuine passion to impact everyone she encounters.

We have the power to help people thrive
