Mind Blossom
Why we do what we do
The numbers on mental wellbeing and illness are harrowing.
The best time to act on this was decades ago. The second best time is now.

Major Issues Facing Mental Health Care
prevention
Currently, most research initiatives are focused on treatment of mental illnesses, while the power of preventing mental illness is overlooked.
stigma
Although progress has occurred, mental illnesses are still stigmatized by the public as well as healthcare practitioners. This stigma can prevent proper treatment and discourage the affected from seeking help.
education
While self-education on mental wellbeing and illness is on the rise, much of it lacks scientific credibility. Advice on how to address a mental challenge can vary from supplements to diets to therapy styles, and drug brands even unintentionally leading people into rabbit holes.
Mental Health in Schools and Companies
Schools and companies are particularly powerful places for preventing and combating mental illness.
Why?
Because they are trusted organizations that enable seamless implementation of psychoeducation.
Moreover, schools and companies can leverage the sense of community embedded in their existing culture.

Why we exist
Mind Blossom is spearheaded by our CEO and Neuroscientist, Dr. Pernille (Bülow) Yilmam, PhD, who, having faced severe mental illnesses, draws from personal experience. Her encounters with stigma, limited family support, and inadequate access to treatment motivated the inception of Mind Blossom.
While Dr. Yilmam’s journey embodies pain and hardship, it is equally a narrative of hope, resilience, and the fortifying strength of community. Beyond her expertise, Dr. Yilmam brings a genuine passion to impact everyone she encounters.

Profits, Donations & Reports
Where does your money go
All profits from services and all donations are reinvested into developing mental health education programming for financially insecure schools and community centers.
Decide where your donations go
Mind Blossom is dedicated to make an impact in your local area. When you donate 1000$ or more, we will reinvest our profits in your local area (state or region).
When you donate 3000$ or more, we give you the option to decide which specific school or specific area we should dedicate our pro bono services to.
Know where your money went
We release quarterly newsletter that state where we have worked either as a service or pro bono activity. In this newsletter we also state how much money we received in donations and exactly how we have spent them.
Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.
