We don’t have an office.
We operate in the community where the people are.

Mental Health Toolkit Workshop
This workshop is an all time favorite across Ohio. First delivered as a 3 hour workshop for the LGBTQ+ organization Full Spectrum in Youngstown, Ohio, this workshop has inspired many people to start taking action around their wellbeing.
Inspired by the principles of the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), Mind Blossom has developed our own Personal Action Plan that includes affirmations, reflections on what we need, and nudges to start making the changes we know will help us grow.
The workshop involves learning about stress, triggers, and warning signs. Depending on the audience, we may elaborate on the neurobiological underpinnings as well.
This workshop is highly interactive and inspires participants to continue the work at home.
The workshop can be delivered in-person (our favorite) or virtually, and is always tailored to the specific audience’s needs and wishes.
Maternal Health Program
This is one of our most popular, and most impactful, programs. You can learn more about it on our dedicated webpage.
We are currently running this program in New Haven, Connecticut, and are expanding it across state lines. Please reach out if you are interested in bringing it to your community.
Community Center Staff Training
We currently deliver 10-12 week programs at community centers across Massachusetts and Connecticut. These programs are focused on building knowledge, skills, and resources among the staff to support their own wellbeing as well as supporting children, youth, and adults experiencing mental health challenges.

Take a peek into one of our Impact Reports.
For every client we work with, we develop an Impact Report. This helps Mind Blossom keep track of what works, and the client gets a chance to measure their return on investment.
A snapshot of the feedback we have received from our community center staff training programs
Great material and awesome reenactments that helped me learn about the helpful steps to take when someone is in distress.
Pernille is a fantastic presenter. I’ve learned so much in the few sessions she has done for staff and volunteers at CCAR.
The most important thing I learned is that you can overcome your mental health issue. It won’t define you.
Mind Blossom is an amazing mental health based organization. Recently, Dr. Pernille Yilmam facilitated a training to a small team of staff committed to serving youth/adolescents throughout the academic year as well as the summertime. That training was centered around adolescent development. Dr. Yilmam facilitated information on neurobiology so effortlessly in a way that those without formal training in the matter were still able to follow along and learn! Looking forward to more future collaborations with this organization.
Penny is very informative and has the ability to present complex information simplistically so it is easily understood! She took the time to ask what specific topics would benefit our population and created a perfect interpretation of the topic (how trauma affects the brain). Following the presentation, participants vocalized their appreciation and knowledge gained!
Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.
